My friend Webb from Louisiana is coming to South Florida this month to pick up some local sp's for his N. American big year, and asked me to find some reliable Spot-breasted Orioles. I've only seen two since 1/1 at Sadowski, but I must admit I don't search for these. Is there any spot where they are being seen on a reliable basis?

Also, I'm trying to gauge what sort of migration we are getting down here, so please report any of the following: Chimney Swifts, Least Terns, Common Nighthawks, and any warbler not normally wintering here. I'm seeing reports from as far as the Panhandle of birds we should be getting down here first, but I'm very worried that they might just be going up the Gulf and missing us altogether. Can anyone summon a 50-80 mph westerly wind for the next month?
