A female bluebird appeared before the male came but her color was very pale and keyed out to non-breeding by Sibley. She had no band.
Nuthatches were in the same split trunk pine across from the last bathroom in the entrance road that we referred you to last year. They did not enter any cavity but just processed up/down/all around. Since they were out of photo range I kept my attention to the bluebirds and the towhees.
