While bonefishing along the oceanside of Sands Key (immediately North of Elliot Key) last week I was thrilled and shocked to see a Mangrove Fox Squirrel running along the shoreline. I had no idea they were on Elliot/Sands! Sands is relatively small and the current is real swift between the two. Saw a House Finch in the backyard a few weeks ago, on Thursday saw two of the Brown Boobies Toe mentioned, a few Common Loons around Marquesas yesterday, a Swallow-tailed Kite was over Curry Hammock in Marathon today.
