They are coming to tube feeders and a globe style cling-a-wing filled with nothing but plain black sunflower seeds. I wasn't planning on goldfinches, but they are all over the sunflower seeds, especially in the tube feeder. They might prefer the smaller black sunflower seeds to the striped kind, I don't know.
: What are the goldfinches eating? We are not having much success at north Broward with millet, or milo, or chicken starter, of ground up nuts. They even ignore the thistle-sock.
