Noticed yesterday for the first time a pair of painted buntings coming to one of my feeders (a brick of mixed seed). The male showed up first and stayed a good long while, the female only making a brief appearance.
Then this morning, 15 or 20 American goldfinches, all over the feeders. Lively bunch!
