"The sky is falling", "The sky is falling"! BP and I agree on something i.e. the need or non-need for specialty books for beginners or advanced beginner birders. But Bill, don't you think that "flag" looks a little orange? It does on my monitor, so wouldn't that place the bird as having been banded in Argentina? Nonetheless, that's a good URL to bookmark!
