After thoroughly reading Beadle & Rising (photographic and illustrated) guides and looking at my fuzzy photo, I retract my "probable Saltmarsh" ID. My bird at Eco Pond was a sharp-tailed sparrow. I aspire to become a much better field observer, take Bryant Roberts-like notes and quit monkeying around with the camera-through-bins when I should be studying the bird!
