Hello, I am a birder from Arizona trying to plan a trip to S Florida for spring migration. I would love to bird the Dry Tortugas, but it seems very expensive to do so. Does anyone know of a way to do this for a reasonable price, independent of the tour operators, and will this approach yield a good number of species? If anyone has experience birding the Dry Tortugas, I would much appreciate your help.
