Come to think of it, whomever prepares the specimen should definitely collect the stomach contents.
I'd be willing to bet that the bird's stomach is filled not with the seeds of South Florida Slash Pine, but rather with seeds of Eastern Hemlock or some other northern conifer.
But I could be wrong.
