OK, you guys...
I feel like an idiot again...
At least I called it a Scaup.
Since all I had was a photo, and the bird didn't look mean enought to be a Greater Scaup, I chose the more likely Lesser Scaup.
Now that I have had the benefit of expert opinions. I would like to change my thought that the bird is a Lesser Scaup to "it is a Greater Scaup".
I need to quit posting my questionable ID's and just ask the experts. My ego is taking a big hit...
