Bill put me with the one and only Paul Bithorn to count all the gulls, vultures and ibis for the Black Point - Cutler Wetland area. Just as I expected it was a fun day and Paul kept things interesting. Paul can post the report, but we had 90 species with several fairly good birds. (Franklin's Gull, Common Loon, Hooded Mergansers, Short Tailed Hawk, Broad-wing Hawk, Peregrine Falcon, Wintering Black Throated Blue and with Toes help at the end of the day a couple of Snipe)

For those of you wondering if you should help; the answer is yes... I had a blast and learned a few things from one of the best birders around.
