The following is an email I received from Mort's wife December 13th:
Dear Friends,
It is with a very sad heart that I tell you our dear
Mort Cooper went to be with the Lord Wednesday night,
December 6th, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center
in Cardiac ICU. The very caring critical care doctor
and nurses did all they could do for Mort.
We had a private graveside service on Saturday
morning, the 9th, with his two pastors and a few close
friends. Friday evening, the 15th, we will be having a
memorial service for Mort at our church, Arcadia
Presbyterian.
