The Great Black-Hawk (not a Buteo, but a Buteogallus) that Robin is referring to, has been seen on and off for (how long has it been now?) several years. It is believed that it escaped from the old Crandon Park Zoo. These birds of prey are long-lived. What I can't remember is if there were two at one point. Robin?
