As a relatively new birder (2 years), I am still enjoying the thrill of seeing a life bird on a somewhat regular basis, and would be disappointed to see this life bird go unidentified. After seeing this bird, I have studied both Eared and Horned extensively, and I guess that is the allure of birding. I am not experienced enough to call it myself, and am relying on the more advanced birders. I know several people are going to see the bird this weekend. Please let us know your thoughts.
