Yesterday as I drove past a lake in Weston, there were hundreds of birds on the shore, mostly Great Egrets, but other species as well, including 3 Wood Storks. I have seen this phenomenon before and I wonder what is going on. If there is anyone who knows the answer I would appreciate it.
I have seen similar situations in Markham Park when the water is low, but the water is not low in the lakes.
