Just a heads-up for anyone planning to join the TAS walk at Matheson on Sunday. There is a lot of water on the access road leading west, and also along the western edge of the hammock. There was also a lot of bird activity there this afternoon. You should plan on wearing appropriate shoes/boots for this.
I forgot to mention in my previous post that there was also a Chestnut-sided Warbler along the access road. It was locate near, you guessed it, one of the large puddles on the road! Good thing I had rubber boots.
