Hi Marci- Yes, I am in the Falls area ( I saw the killdeer on the turnpike near FIU).
I have a red tailed hawk in my neighborhood as well as a swallow tailed kite that I have seen near Miami- Dade Kendall campus.I have also seen kestrels on the wires along 104th in the same area.
Urban birds abound , just keep reading this birdboard!
