Cats are a big problem here in Hoechoka Hammock also. So let us start the solution and not continue the lamenting.

I will provide 6 hav-a-hart traps. TAS members, maybe Alex, Toe, Rock Jetty, etc. can take possession of them. One of the local TAS members gets permisison from A.D.Barnes for permission to live trap. Set the traps each day. Turn the cats over to Humane Society when caught. The traps are best set at night to avoid jays, etc from tripping them by going for the bait (cat food).

A spread of 6 traps for 30 days should bring the problem under control except for the really street smart ones.

Now there is a down stroke risk:

1. Humane Society just turns them loose
2. You catch a spotted skunk
3. The cat lovers of the world rise up in non-righteous indignation and destroy the traps, the birds and you.

I believe it is worth the risk
