I had very limited time so I only birded one hour early this morning. The Alder Flycatchers found by Larry are still at the Annex in the area of the speed bump, and they were calling. Also in this area there was a female Orchard Oriole. There was a pair of Barred Owls in the second large fig tree on the east side of the road. At Lucky Hammock there was a Least Flycatcher. The fields have been mowed, and there were 5 Sandhil Cranes in the field south of Lucky Hammock. Except for a lone Prairie, there was no warbler activity at all. On the way back I spotted one Upland Sandpiper south of 9336 west of 217th Ave.
