The young male was quite a good flyer; he'd been zooming in and out for a week or two, picking up peanuts off the rail on the tree house deck, eating oranges stuck on tree limbs. I think either the new guy did it or the father did it attempting to get the young ones out on their own and away from home. I have watched the first male for over 4 years, literally at arms length. He had a distinctive coin shape indentation in his cheek. Also the new male does not come for peanuts, he is wary of me. He's also much "younger" looking, and very, very red.
