I sent in the report two night ago. I have been a firm believer that this was a Red-billed Tropicbird once I learned more about the bird. After all this, I am confident I will never have a problem with a tropicbird in the field again!
I spoke to Paul three nights ago, and he believes it was a Red-billed. He told me that it's flight and bulkiness did not resemble the White-taileds he has seen elsewhere in the Caribbean.
