There's mention of a photograph at the website for the Historical Museum of Southern Florida http://www.historical-museum.org/collect/miaminews/prints-bio-a-b.htm
of "Julius Barber tending Flamingoes, Hialeah" don't know if he was in charge, or simply a track worker.
