Not exactly the Keys, but for the last sevral evenings, I've been having a dozen or so Chimney Swifts flying over my house hawking insects here in Naples. Actually, I'm in North Naples. Last year, Chimney Swifts set up housekeeping at the Target store in a shopping center about a mile from my house. They were utilizing the area above the sign on the "tower" in the shopping center. Pretty cool to watch them and their young go about feeding around the shopping center and then dart into their nesting area. Of course, all of the shoppers going in and out of the stores were totally oblivious to them. . . .
