I had Ground Hornbill (that's what I finally IDed it as) at the Flamingo Road ESL site back on July 9th 1995. That same morning I checked with Flamigo Gardens (seeing as they're right across the street) and they said they never had or weren't missing any Hornbills. I guessed it might have been a Andrew refugee from MetroZoo...
I wonder if the Helmeted Turaco is still there in Davie ... beautiful bird, sounds like a cuckoo...
