A picture is certainly worth a thousand words.
How big do you think that screech owls are? I live in High Pines just north of Pinecrest where I hear and see screech owls frequently. They seem to nest only once a year and now is the time. Four is not uncommon, but you seem to have a very large family.
They do love palmetto bugs. They are great to have around.
