Although sometimes merged, the ABA & AOU currently consider the Thrush family (Turdidae) to be separate from the Muscicapidae. The two families are closely related and some of the ABA/AOU Turdidae probably belong in the Muscicapide (in the narrow sense), including Northern Wheatear & Bluethroat (and everything through Stonechat). The 3rd ed. Howard-Moore checklist does this.
