You may also be able to find these fake eggs at the craft store ( like Michaels in Kendall). If I remember correctly, aren't starling eggs sort of a light greenish blue?
I know that this works very well for parrot breeders ( they do it so they can incubate the real eggs and the female will sit on the fake ones, instead of continuing to lay more and therefore depleting her calcium).
By the way, I also see those little starling devils evicting woodies from telephone pole holes!
