Thank you for your educated opinion. I removed the clutch of eggs(2)and nesting material yesterday. The starlings seemed really confused for the rest of the day. This morning I have noticed an occasional starling entering the box for brief moments. Hopefully, it will lose interest and move on. If not, then I'll just have to get the ladder out again. What's ironic is there had never even been one starling in my yard, not even at my old nest box, until the new box went up. They appeared out of nowhere and now, don't want to leave!
