I finally got to go down to ENP for a little while. I stopped at the annex
: first and saw a couple of White Eyed Vireos, Common Yellow Throat, Painted
: Bunting and the Bell's Vireo. The Bell's Vireo was keeping it's self hidden, so
: no photo, but was visible through the foliage.
I headed to Research Rd. and didn't see much except a few palm warblers,
: Meadow Larks, Tree Swallows and a Swallow Tailed Kite flying towards Royal Palm.
: So guess where I headed next?
In the Royal Palm parking lot there were several photographers set up and
: watching a tree in the middle of the lot. After asking a few questions, I found
: that the Swallow Tail Kite was swooping in on a regular basis gathering moss for
: it's nest. I was also able to put a few faces with names. Hello Roy...
I got a few shots off before having to leave.
Sure was nice to get out of the house/office.... :)
