Did anybody photograph the parakeets, which I presume were Blue-crowned Parakeets -- or did you mean Nanday (formerly Black-hooded) Parakeets?
Somewhat surprisingly, there's still no verified record of Blue-crowned Parakeets breeding in Florida.
