I first sighted this bird in Feb 2012, and have seen it regularly over the past three years in the Brickell Key area, mostly consorting with grackles or starlings. So it's been here a while. No idea how it got here though. It's possible that it was a stowaway, as the Port is right across the water from Brickell Key. But there are also a few examples of people on the internet selling Red-winged Starlings (Onychognathus morio) as pets, which look very similar to the Brickell Key bird.
