Interesting fact and point! I had no idea on the difficulties of finding a migratory Wood Thrush in Dade since you guys have so many beautiful hammock parks down there. Paradoxically, finding a vagrant from the Bahamas is easier. Luckily for us the La Sagra's Flycatcher does not thrive on dark, shadowy places like a Wood Thrush and can be vocal unlike a silent Wood Thrush. Believe it or not, I just relocated the Wood Thrush but I only had a glimpse on my binoculars before it vanished. La Sagra's officially packed its bag and left the park though.
