Just like the exotic Brown Anoles has attracted egrets and ibis into residential areas and lawns, I think the presence of exotic geckos (especially those in the Hemydactylus genus) in urban South Florida may contribute to our relatively high Eastern Screech-Owl population. Some food for thought.
