During the Everglades Birding Festival on 1/18, the gate was closed. I was wondering if it was because some idiot had dumped what smelled like sewage, buckets and other trash on the back side. Digusting!!
We did get the Whippoorwill though flying after dusk above the hammock. No Lesser Nighthawks though.
