Two Key West Quail-Doves were seen at Long Key SP Sunday, January 25 shortly after the park opening. As prior reports note, they were not easy to see. The birders present had vastly different experiences depending upon where each was standing the second a dove popped into visibility, ranging from some who did not see the birds at all, to full view of the two birds together on the trail. They led us on quite a chase along the Golden Orb Trail (the part that starts on the north side of the parking lot).
