Following a recent eBird report from David Simpson, Trey McCuen (Georgia) and Rob Pendergast (Wisconsin) visited the site around noon today. They refound and photographed one bird, and said they heard at least one more *north of where Davis reported the bird originally*.
Take Alligator Alley (I-75) west to Snake Road and head north about six miles (this is my best estimate using the ruler function on Google Earth). You'll see a large sign reading "Welcome to Big Cypresss Seminole Reservation". The birds were working both sides of the road in the shrubbery near this sign. This is about 0.75 miles north of David's location.
