The AD Barnes Team for the Kendall CBC had its best year yet yesterday, recording 96 species (86 ABA/10 non-countable) across a wide swath that included everything from Tropical Park to AD Barnes Park in the north, Chapman Field Park and R. Hardy Matheson Preserve to the south, and Kendall-Baptist Hospital to the west -- and every green space and quiet neighborhood in between.

We recorded staggering numbers of warblers with the extra coverage, blowing away multiple Kendall CBC high counts with only our team's numbers. Try as we may, we could not find that Townsend's or Black-throated Gray after sifting through so many warbler flocks.
