Jim Sigsbee and I visited Pinetree Park during our CBC coverage of Miami Beach on Saturday. We found the same passerine flock, which also included a Blue-headed Vireo. Our only parrots seen on Saturday were Mitred near Miami Beach Golf Course and Mitred and White-eyed at Flamingo Park. Other notable sightings included 5 Horned Grebes along the Tulia Tuttle Causeway, 3 Common Loon (two flyovers seen from the South Pointe Park fishing pier, one in the bay at Haulover Cut) and 211 Black-bellied Plover, 4 Dunlin and a Short-billed Dowitcher on the jetties at Government Cut.
