Shark Valley is the same all around, in my opinion. To the extent of my knowledge, there are no birds at the tower that cannot be found all throughout the rest of the area. The tower is a disturbed area, with a hammock and a borrow pit. Truth be told, the strangler figs under and across from the tower are pretty easy to look into. They're not unique though, they're just easily accessed.

As it stands, the 4 hotspots aren't used. Looking at eBird, virtually all submissions are to one list or another.

Accuracy would dictate that a master list is submitted for the "Everglades NP--Shark Valley" listing and then seperate lists for the Visitor Center (maybe 2 seperate ones? One for when you were arriving and another for on the way out?) and a list for the Loop and one for the Tower.

Now the E and W sides of the Loop aren't really the same...
And there's no listing for Bobcat Boardwalk, or Otter Cave...
In fact, each Borrow Pit could also have it's own list.
There's also the big hammock on the W road that's got a little bench in a clearing, called The Drill Site.

Why would the accuracy of my observations be lessened if I identified the particular location in the comments section?

I'm not against accuracy, but I think the current system is not as efficient as it could be.

Another example is Kendall Indian Hammocks; the main hammock is clearly distinct from the open oak woods where the pavilions are, but one hotspot listing seems to work well enough there.
