Before I post my sighting to eBird I would like an opinion as to whether these are Redheads or Canvasbacks. They were flying over the West Broward WCA off the Miramar Parkway/SW 196th Ave extension on NOV 24 at about 7:30 AM. I wanted to post them as Canvasbacks because of their longish necks and sloping foreheads, but maybe the more pronounced gray wing stripe makes them look like Redheads. eBird's edits challenged me on the ID and I see very few Canvasback records for Broward or Miami-Dade, and nearly all of South Florida except for a few singles. STA -5 seems to be the exception. They permit Redheads without challenge even though very few of this species have been recorded in August-November. What do you think? I have 1 additional photo at the link
