The other shot of the first birds also shows the gray wing stripe. I find the forehead ambiguous on this one. It doesn't seem to have the extensive white on the back and upper wing that would be expected of a Canvasback. However, the clean underparts don't match Redhead well. I am quite reluctant to call it a Canvasback, although it could be.
