I was working at Crandon during the big cold front a couple years ago and we had a huge die off. The shore was lined with dead fish. That was also the year a large number of sea turtles washed up cold stunned along Florida's coast. Of course it was MUCH colder than it has been for MUCH longer but old/young/sick fish probably wouldn't do well with a freezing night... I mean, anything for us below 50 is freezing, right?
