Did AZ in 03, and can't wait to go back! Saw 13 out of the possible fifteen species. I had a lot of other species, but the hummers as a group were my favorite. It was when I got back that I started putting a feeder in my yard. You're right, it will turn you into a hummer nut. I stayed two days at the Beatty's place near Miller Canyon, and this is hummingbird central. I can't expect the same down here, but a Ruby-throat once in a while with a potential rarity would be nice. I'll put my feeder out again. Hopefully I will have better results now that my Coral Bean is blooming, and my firebush and porterweed have spread. Thanks, and enjoy the hummers!
