I have seen bats over Kendall Indian Hammocks at night regularly.I asked bat researched Kisi Bohn from FIU to come out and identify the bats a month ago. She came out with her recording equipment and found the following in the park:
-Florida Bonneted Bat
-Brazilian Free-tailed
-Eastern Pipistrelle

In addition, I typically see common nighthawks during the spring and summer and Eastern Screech Owls occasionally in the park at night. and, there is at least one fox roaming the grounds at night too!

I live less than a block away, so anyone looking to take a nature walk, day or night, reach out.
