Supporting Bruce's observations are frequent sightings of parula, blue gray gnatcatchers, and now both male/female painted buntings at the area Cardinal Road and 39th Street....that is a private home about two miles due west of Tall Cypress. My guess would be that Hoechoka Hammock probably has good numbers also as it is four miles due north of these sightings. Hoechoka Hammock is located on the property of Mary Help of Christians Parish intersect of University Dr and Sawgrass.
