Yeah, I knew you were going to say that.
No photos from yesterday but he just emailed me again saying that he's going back this afternoon to try to get some. He further detailed the field marks from yesterday and said that there were actually 6 birds! He said that he showed the birds to a park ranger who said that she had noticed them but thought they must be ground doves, which he says they clearly were not.
