2012, a beautiful, live specimen of a dark-morph Northern Fulmar was found on Daytona Beach Shores and taken to the rehap at the Marine Science Center on New Smyrna Beach. This is only one of a handful of records for this species in Florida. Does anyone know if there are any offshore records for this species, i.e. bird well-documented from a boat off the coast of Florida? I belive one was seen off New Smyrna from shore, and there have been a handful of specimens recovered.
