The migrant gates opened up a little after a week or so of little movement. Things were slow early (I arrived just before 8), but it was apparent that birds were moving into the park as the morning went on. From 9 to 930 (when I left) things really picked up. I ended up with 10 species of warbler including Tennessee and Magnolia, MANY Redstarts and Parulas, and FOS Palm. I also had 2 Swainson's Thrushes, and FOS Catbird. At least 2 other warblers were seen by others by lunchtime. Hopefully the birds will be hanging around for the walk scheduled at AD Barnes on Saturday!
