A reddish egret has been at Green Cay for a few days now - on clear display all day yesterday while I was there. First one I've ever seen at this park. Very actively fishing and running around in the water - appears to be a juvenile. Acadian flycatcher was around last week as well - several birders spotted and got better shots than I did - mine was a tail and side of the chest shot only. Yellow-throated warblers, red-eyed vireos, prairie warblers, black-throated blue warblers, blue-grey gnatcatchers all present yesterday.
