June Challenge birding

My son Philip and I added another bird to our June Challenge list, Brown Noddy! We have been going to the same general area off Homestead Florida east of Pacific Light by boat. What was even more amazing than the Brown Noddy, was seeing a wonderful Leatherback Turtle the largest turtle on earth! We had geat views and I even got a few pictures. The camera was not on the correct settings when I grabbed it being so excited to see this amazing turtle. At least I was able to get a few photos. We went out the next day not by boat, but land birding and came across some baby birds. We came across two immature Common Nighthawks and Killdeer later in the day, nice! Larry Manfredi
